The internal transformation of the communications department is not an easy game. Was it due to Cologne and the home advantage of our host Lanxess? Or the refreshingly open game played by almost 50 participants and guests? Either way, the latest symposium of our Web Excellence Forum provided a surprisingly clear answer to the very open guiding question "Transform, but where to?". The digital experts gathered were unexpectedly unanimous about the future of the communications department. It can best be summed up in a quote from Thomas Mickeleit, Head of Communications Microsoft, who received the best rating of all Web Excellence presentations since 2005 with an incredible 99 out of 100 points. Chapeau!
